Smith questions the viewer through a thematic and formal multidisciplinarity. Her work is deeply rooted in her time; characterized by generating a plastic reflection around the identity and disorder in relation to the other, developing a visual poetic in which the viewer experiences the work within the borders of the imagination and reason, by means of fantastic and phantasmagoric figures that transform the subjectivity within a diffuse atmosphere that generates a contamplative esthetic. Her approach to the visible, luminous yet somber, is the uncertain image of the gender roles; An issue that occupies an important place in the intellectual development of her work.
