Angelo Musco studied at the Accademia Delle Belle Arti and the University of Granada, Spain. The human body is the main element of his work and often becomes the building blocks of mosaics made up of masses of interconnected, naked bodies. These creations literally or symbolically represent eggs, nests, amniotic fluid, and other inspirations about miracle of procreation. Musco's research on the power of aggregation found in nature has fueled his more recent projects. Transforming reality and creating works that go against preconceived ideas, are characteristics of his work.
